Responsible for answering and directing incoming phone calls. Greets customers as they enter the lobby, dealership showroom, or service area. This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Essential duties include answering incoming calls courteously and professionally, taking accurate messages, directing calls and customers to the appropriate department or person, maintaining CSI at or above company standards, keeping an organized, clean and safe work area, participating in required training, recording all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system, following safeguards rules and regulations, demonstrating the company’s core values, complying with company policies and procedures, observing all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations, and performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications include a high school diploma, up to 3 years of experience, previous customer service or administrative experience in a high volume environment, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, ability to understand and follow instructions, effective communication skills, regular and predictable attendance including possible evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. Physical demands include talking, hearing, sitting, and using hands. Work environment is primarily office desk setting with frequent clerical and administrative responsibilities and interaction with customers, managers, and employees. Additional abilities required include reading and comprehending instructions, correspondence, and memos, basic math skills, and problem-solving abilities.
