In this role, you’ll play a major role in creating memorable moments for business travelers and families on vacation. After a busy day at work or play, our guests will be able to rest easily knowing that we will take care of the rest. We offer cleaner rooms than our competition and the extras don't cost extra. This makes our hotels stand out and keeps our guests coming back. As an essential team member at Drury Hotels, you will work on a team with other friendly customer focused team members completing daily duties such as vacuuming, changing linens and making our bathrooms shine. Maintain a clean and positive environment for guests and team members. Perform various hotel cleaning services to keep guest rooms clean according to established standards. Visually inspect rooms to help identify maintenance items needed. Assist guests by providing linens, towels, amenities, or information when requested. Ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing friendly and courteous service with a Service +1 attitude. Ability to work independently and follow verbal and written instructions. Requires knowledge, skill and mental ability equivalent to completion of 2 years of high school. No previous cleaning experience required. Physical requirements include ability to walk and stand throughout the shift, push, vacuum, reach, stretch, bend, and lift 25-35 pounds intermittently during the workday. Reports to Executive Housekeeper / Assistant General Manager. Maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with all hotel departments.
