Job Title: Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk Overview: We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our accounting team. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the timely processing of invoices and payments. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of accounting principles and experience using accounting software.
Key Responsibilities: - Process accounts payable, including invoice verification, coding, and payment execution
- Manage accounts receivable functions such as customer billing, collections, and account reconciliation
- Prepare and post journal entries to support accurate financial reporting
- Enter and manage data using accounting software (e.g., Macola)
- Conduct regular account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain well-organized financial records to support internal audits and compliance
- Assist with month-end close and financial reporting tasks
- Collaborate across departments to ensure financial data accuracy and timely processing
Qualifications & Experience: - Previous experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable roles preferred
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP Business One, or Macola is a plus
- Strong data entry skills and accuracy, including 10-key typing
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking for reconciliation tasks
